Job Description

Our client, a well-established and growing architecture firm, is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join their finance team. This role will partner closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to drive financial performance across a portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate brings strong professional services experience, understands project-based accounting, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience with Deltek is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full project accounting lifecycle from project setup through closeout
  • Partner with Project Managers to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and profitability
  • Review and prepare client billings (progress, T& M, fixed fee)
  • Monitor WIP, revenue recognition, and unbilled receivables
