Role purpose

The
Senior Procurement Specialist
is responsible for developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, overseeing the supply chain and inventory and managing vendor performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Accounting
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in procurement, supply chain management; contracts management or similar workfields
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Mining & Quarrying

Role Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services
  2. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies
  3. Oversee inventory management of inbound/outbound logistics to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise waste
  4. Manage internal stakeholders' budget requirements and performance against targets
