About the role

UPM, a global company committed to renewable alternatives, is seeking a Senior Process Expert to join its Fixed Assets and Leases team within Finance & Control. The position is based in Tampere, Finland, and Wrocław, Poland, reporting to the Manager of Finance & Control.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate complex Fixed Assets accounting and reporting activities, including the preparation and validation of tax-related asset reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, UPM policies, internal controls, and business rules.
• Monitor and develop Fixed Assets processes to maintain operational excellence and reporting quality.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, analyses, and reporting related to Fixed Assets and Leases.
