WorkSafeBC seeks a temporary Senior Access to Information and Privacy Officer, providing legal expertise to meet obligations under privacy laws. You will analyze complex cases, manage high-risk privacy breaches, and represent the company before the OIPC. Collaborating with senior executives, you will develop best practices and training programs for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct legal analysis to identify and mitigate privacy risks
• Advise staff on FIPPA interpretations and applications
• Represent WorkSafeBC in mediations and hearings
• Investigate privacy complaints and breaches
• Analyze records in response to complex information requests
Requirements:
• Law degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
