Step into a pivotal role within our growing Mine Waste team in the GTA, where your expertise will help shape complex, high‑impact mining projects across Canada. As a Senior Mine Waste Engineer, you’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of tailings and mine waste facilities—from early‑stage studies through to design, construction, operations, and closure—while supporting sustainable and responsible mining practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, assessment, and optimization of tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and mine waste systems across all project phases.
- Apply advanced geotechnical engineering principles to evaluate slope stability, seepage, drainage, and long‑term performance.
- Deliver high‑quality engineering analyses, reports, drawings, and technical specifications that support safe and efficient designs.
- Support Engineer of Record (EOR) mandates, dam safety reviews, and risk assessments.
