Job Description

Summary

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Senior PCB Designer is Responsible for the design of complex mixed-signal, multi-layer SMT and thru-hole printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer. Position will be based out of our Bedford, NS office and is a hybrid (3 days in office) role that enjoys a compressed 9/80 schedule.

As Senior PCB Designer, your main responsibilites will include (but are not limited to):

  • Enter schematics into the design software, and create the required part library files when required
  • Layout and optimization of components and circuits to minimize design and production costs while adhering to appropriate design requirements
  • Efficiently layout components and circuits to minimize design and production costs while adhering to appropriate design requirements
