Engineering Analysis: Perform and seal structural analysis for utility poles (wood, concrete, composite) using industry-standard software (e.g., SPIDAcalc, QuickPole). Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to Ontario Regulation 22/04, CSA 22.3 No. 1, and Hydro One (HONI) distribution standards. Make-Ready Design: Review and approve make-ready work (MRW) packages, including guying, framing, and clearance adjustments. Field Collaboration: Work closely with field technicians to validate survey data. Make professional engineering judgments based on high-quality field photos and measurements.
