SeniorPlanningOfficerThisrolesitswithinthePlanning&BuildingControlserviceattheLondonBoroughofBarnetandformspartofahigh-performing,customer-focusedDevelopmentManagementteam.Thepostholderwillcontributetodeliveringanefficient,timelyandoutcome-drivenplanningservicealignedwiththeCouncilsprioritiesandperformancestandards. SeniorPlanningOfficerTheSeniorPlanningOfficerwillmanageacaseloadofplanningapplications,rangingfromminordevelopmentstosmall-scalemajorapplications(andmorecomplexschemesathigherlevel),assessingproposalsandproducingrobust,well-reasonedreportsandrecommendations.Theroleinvolvesregularengagementwithapplicants,stakeholdersandinternalconsultees,aswellaspresentingapplicationsatPlanningCommittee.
