Senior Payroll Officer

A growing and supportive business is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their friendly payroll team. 

In this role, you’ll manage your own client portfolio, handling end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance, and contributing to payroll system improvements and projects.

What You’ll Do:

Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for permanent and casual staff

Maintain accurate employee records and resolve payroll queries

Prepare payroll tax, PAYG, workers’ compensation, and superannuation obligations

Perform reconciliations and support audits

Supply guidance to clients 

Help improve payroll systems and processes

Proven payroll experience and strong compliance knowledge

Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy
