Job Description

Senior Payroll Administrator Responsibilities Coordinate payroll activities, including payroll processing, ensuring appropriate levels of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ensure compliance with appropriate legislation, regulations, and the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI). Coordinate and prepare payments for all statutory and non-statutory deductions and contributions at month-end, such as: Garnishees Medical Aid Bargaining Council Provident Fund Process leave applications and escalate any sick leave or absenteeism concerns to the Group Payroll Manager. Provide payroll advice, guidance, and support to the Group. Assist external auditors with annual auditing of the payroll system. Produce ad hoc reports, including: Payroll processing reports Leave reports Overtime reports Monthly journals Month-end reports Assist with the monthly submission and reconciliation to the NBCRFLI.
