Senior Optometrist

Applications are invited for the posts of:

• 1 x Fixed-Term/Secondment post until April 2027 – 16.56 hours per week
• 2 x Fixed-Term/Secondment posts for 12 months – 16.56 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Optometrists as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team in a new purpose built Eye Centre to support the pre-operative assessment of new patients referred for cataract surgery and independently undertake the post-operative review of patients.

Our Ophthalmology service continues to expand and is now the largest unit in Scotland. The new Eye Centre unit has been designed around an innovative and proven patient pathway, utilizing health care assistants, ophthalmic technicians, registered nurses, optometrists and Consultant Ophthalmologists.
