Key Responsibilities
Reporting into the Senior Manager, the Senior Operations Specialist will:
Manage the Vendor Contract management process, intake and offboarding of contractors for the IT department. Work with procurement teams to lead related sourcing projects. Collaborate with internal IT stakeholders, business groups and external suppliers to co-ordinate and manage procurement projects, statement of work, key deliverables, contracts, and vendors. Interpret contracts and provide advice and guidance to others as required. Develop estimates of time and resources required for a variety of events and activities. Function as a liaison between Supply Chain Management, suppliers, and other departments. Place approved purchase orders with vendors, ensuring that purchases arrive on time, and notify of backorders and delays. Updates all internal systems to reflect PO submittals and alte...
