Senior Backend Engineer (/TypeScript)

Fully Remote from NI/ROI

My remote-first client is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to own their backend architecture, infrastructure, reliability, and security.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain backend services with and TypeScript
  • Own AWS infrastructure (Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM)
  • Drive technical decisions and engineering best practices
  • Improve CI/CD, observability, and platform reliability

  • 5+ years' backend or full-stack experience with a backend focus
  • Strong , TypeScript, AWS, and PostgreSQL skills
  • Solid understanding of authentication, permissions, and API security
