Job Description

Managing of the Bank's Network Connectivity and ensuring uptime on network infrastructure. Supervises Junior Network Engineers and ensuring management of network and connectivity are aligned.
• Supervises Network Engineers and ensures concerns and issues raised are acted accordingly.
• Troubleshoot tickets and customer issues that are raised as networking problems and identifying the root cause of such issues so they can be fixed or routed to more senior Voice or network engineers.
• Will also involve collaboration with the ISP, System Vendor, and Technology Support groups, the IT Security Office, and IT administrators of organizations across head office.
• Provide 2nd tier support for network systems, including daytime and off-hours coverage for problems with supported equipment. Respond to such events with appropriate troubleshooting, and problem remediation.
• Follow-up with any recommendations to change systems or processes to prevent recurrence.
