Job Description

About the role:

We are currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer reporting to our Strategic Planning Superintendent on site at our Coppabella-Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) located near Moranbah.

The main purpose of this position is to develop medium to long term mine designs and schedules for CMJV. A key focus will be to monitor and report on production performance against the plans and schedules and to ensure compliance with safety, legislative and statutory requirements.

Duties will include: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximise operational productivity and utilisation of equipment in schedules.
  • Preparation and communication of site physicals for annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
