To provide clarity and focus for the engineering group to achieve and surpass the mine's safety and production targets and to add value to the operation. Develop high confidence mine plans based on historical performance and improve mine recovery. To grow the people in the engineering group through performance review, training, guidance, and mentoring to reach their maximum potential. Responsibilities
Promoting Safety and Sustainability
Align with Fatality Risk Management protocols at all sites Promote innovation and continuous improvement in safety by reviewing existing engineering designs and new designs Review plans and designs for regulatory compliance and compliance to Company policies, procedures and standards Promote and adhere to Company environmental and sustainability policies Mine Planning and Mine Design
