Job Description

  • Design mechanical structures for switchboards, switchgear, and panelboards
  • Design copper and aluminum busbar systems
  • Develop 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Review and approve manufacturing drawings
  • Coordinate projects from engineering through production
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and cost targets
  • Provide technical support to production, quality, and testing teams
  • Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving
  • Standardize designs and drive cost optimization initiatives
  • Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • +7 years of experience in industrial mechanical design
  • Experience with switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, or MCCs
