Empower Canada's energy future as a Senior Mechanical Engineer with WSP. Focus on innovative Power Generation projects, leading design and engineering efforts across the energy spectrum. In this senior role within WSP's Energy subsector, you will collaborate with diverse clients, including Independent Power Producers and Municipal Electric Utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design for Power Generation projects
  • Evaluate engineering techniques and industry standards
  • Conduct high‑complexity engineering analysis and equipment selection
  • Develop P&IDs for power plant systems
  • Coordinate with drafting and engineering teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ years of relevant design experience
  • Licensed skilled engineer (P.Eng, Ing, PE)
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microstation or AutoCAD
