Job Description

About the role

  • Prepare 3D layouts (using Smart Plant 3D) and detail drawings 
  • Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements
  • Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Lead Mechanical Engineer and communicating issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards

  • Prior experience in a similar role working on designs for Bulk Materials Handling or Plant layout. (experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry, pumping, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would also be highly regarded.)
