Overview

Lutron has an immediate opening for a SeniorMechanical Designer at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this position, you would be a key part of the Engineering team. A successful Mechanical Designer candidate will have a desire to work in a team environment on support of existing products and/or new product designs.


Responsibilities

  • Modeling of custom mechanical parts, assemblies, and tools in Creo

  • Perform hands-on tasks such prototype building and validation testing

  • Prototype and implement design tweaks to improve design quality and facilitate easier assembly

  • Source prototype components using our 3D printers, from our in-house machine shop or nearby vendors

  • Support documentation and part specification for existing and new products

  • Part verification and documentation of assembly tolerance stack analysis
