Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and coordinating engineering project work and design activities to ensure that project goals/objectives are accomplished within agreed deadline.
• Assists with mechanical technical design reviews.
• Reviews project proposals or plans to input into time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, resource requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to become the next generation of engineers and leaders.
• Perform HVAC calculations but not limited to Cooling and Heating Load and Mechanical Ventilation calculations. But rather step by step and detail approach as per BSRIA design framework.
• Perform Area take-off and space and volume analysis.
• Formulate and production of Room by Room HVAC Performance Criteria with reference to Project Design Brief and Governing Mechanical standard/code.
