Overview of the role

As a key member of the Ports, Coastal and Offshore (PCO) team, the Senior Marine Cable & Renewables Engineer will influence the success of cable and renewables projects across the globe. The role covers all stages of the project cycle, from cable routing, burial risk assessments and feasibility studies, to transport, installation, construction supervision and monitoring. Scope includes
• cable burial risk assessments and burial assessment studies
• cable routing, transport and installation documentation
• renewables constraints mapping, site prospecting, site investigation, data management and GIS
• project management duties such as resourcing, programming, commercial and contractual matters, risk and quality oversight, tender procurement, BOQ preparation and contract award
