Senior Mainframe Infrastructure

The Senior Mainframe Infrastructure & Data Center Architect is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and modernization of enterprise mainframe environments. This role owns data center architecture, storage replication, disaster recovery, performance optimization, and capacity planning across multi-site z/OS infrastructures, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and cost efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesMainframe Data Center Architecture & Design

• Design and manage mainframe data center architectures including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, MGM, and 2-, 3-, and 4-site GDPS and GDDR configurations.
• Lead mainframe data center physical planning and infrastructure design, including power, cooling, footprint, and site resiliency considerations.
• Architect and support Parallel Sysplex environments across IBM z14, z15, and z16 platforms.
