What This Role Is Really Like

This is a highly hands-on Linux engineering role. You will regularly:

  • Debug complex networking and routing issues across multiple global providers
  • Write and maintain automation scripts and SaltStack states
  • Diagnose performance issues at OS, network, and infrastructure level
  • Work directly with live production systems
  • Solve problems independently
  • This role is best suited to engineers who enjoy deep technical problem solving and infrastructure ownership

Success in This Role

After 6 months, you will:

  • Be fully comfortable managing and troubleshooting our infrastructure independently
  • Have contributed improvements to automation and monitoring
  • Have helped improve system reliability, visibility, or efficiency
  • Be a trusted technical resource within the team
