What the Role Entails

Tencent is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel focusing on overseas advertising platform and public welfare initiatives. As one of the key members in the Tencent overseas legal team, you will have an exciting opportunity to support international business, products and platforms in the areas of advertising, open-source software and AI across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on the legal and compliance aspects of overseas advertising platforms, including product features, platform governance, advertiser onboarding, ad review workflows, user-facing disclosures, and cross-border launches
  • Build and improve the compliance framework for the overseas advertising business, including policies, standard operating procedures, risk assessments, approval workflows, training, and knowledge management.
