The Position

The Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES) is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Critical Minerals at the interface between geophysics and geochemistry and/or experimental petrology. This continuing academic position will play a key role in RSES’s strategic growth in critical minerals and critical resources.

The appointee will develop and lead a high-impact research program focused on how and where critical mineral systems form, how they are preserved, and how they can be understood and developed responsibly. We are particularly interested in candidates whose work connects geophysical observations, modelling or interpretation with geochemical, petrological, experimental, analytical or field-based constraints on mineral system formation.<...
