Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Information Officer to join our Corporate Governance Team, the role provides record and information management support to Tweed Shire Council.

Candidates with a high level of transferable administrative skills will be considered, direct records management experience is not essential. 

About the role:

  • Provide high-quality records and information management services by implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving records management policies, procedures, and guidance to support compliance, accountability, and effective business operations.
  • Assist with Council’s obligations under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act)
  • Provide records and information management support to Council.
