Senior Human Resources Generalist (Contract)

Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is currently searching for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Burnaby on a contract until the end of June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key senior contributor in developing, implementing, and maintaining human resources programs and policies, and as a senior level resource supporting employee relations.
• Support employee relations, including complaint intake and investigations, leaves management and workplace accommodations, and HR-related projects and initiatives.
• Work with the Manager, HR, Associate Director, HR, external legal counsel or investigators to advise leaders on complex employee relations matters such as performance, accommodations, leaves, complaints, and investigations.
• Research, draft, review, and manage complex human resource policies, practices and procedures that are clear, effective, compliant and consistent with legislation.
