Education and Certifications


Required:

  • Professional designation as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO)

    • Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related scientific field, or equivalent HSE experience

    • Knowledge & Experience

  • 4+ years of HSE experience in a construction, industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of Canadian health and safety legislation and standards

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. French language skills an asset.

  • Proven ability to drive change and build a strong safety culture

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
