POSITION DETAILS Position title Senior General Manager E&I (Plant) Department Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Division / unit Plant-wide DRI, SMS/CCM, Rolling, Captive Power Plant & utilities Location- Bhilai, Chhattisgarh Reports to Managing Director Team size (direct reports) Entire plant E&I organisation, incl. section Sr. Managers/engineers (size to confirm) 2. ROLE BRIEF ( feeds the agency JD) Role summary (12 lines) Head all electrical, instrumentation and automation across the integrated plant DRI, steel melting (SMS/CCM), rolling (strip & pipe), the Captive Power Plant and utilities including the planned upgrade to a 132 kV grid power connection, plus E&I for expansion/capex projects. Owns plant-wide power reliability, automation, energy efficiency, electrical safety and the E&I organisation. Key responsibilities 1.
