Staff Fullstack Engineer (Python/Vue.js), AI Engineering: Duo Chat at GitLab

Overview

Join our dynamic remote team and work on the core of GitLab's AI-driven capabilities as part of the Duo Chat group. Your mission is to boost AI capabilities, integrate heavyweights like Google Vertex AI, and shape the roadmap by adding new tools and improving testing processes. You will work primarily with Ruby on Rails, Python, GraphQL, and RSpec, while collaborating remotely in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop features and improvements to the GitLab product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders across Engineering (Frontend, Backend UX, etc.) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
