Cloud9 seeks a senior technical owner to consolidate multiple services into a single backend, ensuring reliable guest-facing systems and scalable architecture. You will work with our founding engineer, own the migration path with careful backups, and drive observability, retries, and escalation to protect live bookings.

You will code daily with AI augmentation, review all prod-exposed changes, and collaborate across frontend and backend teams in a distributed setup spanning Chicago and LatAm,
