Job Description
Plannera is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the term position of Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Supervisor, Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance and Corporate Services team.
The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for the accounting, reporting, and analysis of Plannera’s two largest pension plans (PEPP and MEPP). This position will ensure the accuracy of investment reporting from the pension plans’ custodian, demonstrating knowledge on various asset classes including complex investments. It is a requirement for this position to provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the pension Board and Commission, as well as to external stakeholders. As such, this position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
