Join the Transaction Monitoring Unit at Nordea and strengthen the bank’s Anti‑Money Laundering Controls. As a Senior or Expert Data Scientist, you will develop, review, and optimize automated transaction monitoring controls that protect Nordea, its customers, and society from financial crime.

Responsibilities

• Access and analyze complex, distributed datasets to extract insights for transaction monitoring (TM) control development.
• Perform statistical analysis and simulation of existing controls to assess the impact of proposed changes.
• Design new TM controls based on data‑driven insights and validate their performance.
• Review existing automated controls, identify improvement opportunities, and manage quantitative optimization, including Above and Below The Line testing.
• Analyze, assess, and document the effectiveness of current automated controls.
