Senior Executive, Merchandising (Buyer)

Job responsibilities

• Planning, sourcing material, sample order & accessory.
• Handle orders from sampling to shipment to ensure delivery within agreed cost, quality and timelines.
• Lead all product development after the designing phase through prototype samples, fit samples and production samples.
• Communicate effectively with various departments such as Marketing, Designing, Sampling, and Factory for timely approvals and to resolve any issues that may potentially delay shipment.
• Handle regular purchasing material duties and administrative works.
• Monitor and coordinate; complete product development till final sample is accurate, quality checks, measurements, comments for changes and final approvals and get quotation.
• Prepare cost sheet to determine the selling price.
• Handle quality issue with Customer Service department, buyer and factory.
• Handle shipment & work close with forwarder.
