Senior Estimator - General Contracting

Overview

Senior Construction Estimator - Location: Brampton, ON (In-office); Type: Full-time | Permanent. We are hiring a Senior Construction Estimator for a growing General Contractor delivering hospitality, residential, commercial, and institutional projects. This is a senior pre-construction role with ownership of bids, pricing strategy, and risk management across multiple delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed cost estimates for hard-bid, lump sum, CM, and design-build projects.
• Review drawings, specs, addenda, and contract requirements (Arch/Struct/MEP).
• Perform and oversee quantity take-offs and scope reviews.
• Manage full bid lifecycle: RFQs, tendering, trade buyout, and closings.
• Evaluate subcontractor pricing and negotiate final scopes.
• Identify risks, gaps, exclusions, and pricing assumptions.
• Support value engineering and alternative pricing strategies.
