Senior Estimator

Aplin has partnered with a reputable company to recruit a Senior Estimator –– Linear Infrastructure- Underground Earthworks / Utility construction for their growing operations in Alberta. This full time position will report to the Chief Estimator.

The Estimator will produce cost estimates for assigned tenders, and evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that information is correct and current, all of which are required to successfully bid and win tenders.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for following up with sub-contractors to ensure that bids are received.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate civil earthworks and underground projects
• Evaluate multiple sub-trade executions, strategies, and estimates
• Be accountable for sub-trade strategies and estimates
• Accountable for the entire proposal package submission
