Senior Engineering Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

Job Responsibilities :

Lead and build engineering team for cloud-based creator platform: learn its systems and engineering processes directly from the retained engineers, hire and onboard a new engineering team, and make the platform independently operable.

Pre-Requisites :

Personally ramp on the platform's architecture and operations: pair with retained engineers, take a place in the on-call rotation early, and turn undocumented knowledge into runbooks.

Manage the blended team day-to-day: retained engineers and incoming engineers. 

Build and run the onboarding path for new engineers: curriculum from the technical documentation, shadowing rotations, per-subsystem sign-off criteria.

Track and escalate knowledge-transfer risk: maintain the subsystem-ownership map, flag single-person dependencies, and prioritize their elimination.

Provide technical input to integration decisions.
