Senior Engineer (Industrial Engineering)

The Drive & HSA Industrial Engineering (IE) Department is a key function within Seagate’s Worldwide Operations Planning organization, responsible for enabling efficient, cost‑effective, and scalable HDD manufacturing by optimizing critical factory resources such as space, equipment, manpower, material, machine utilization, and HPU (Hour Per Unit) requirements. The team partners closely with cross‑functional factory groups to ensure that current and future customer demand can be met through comprehensive capacity planning, long‑term volume forecasting, equipment and layout optimization, budget and technology roadmap alignment, and continuous operational improvement using Lean and IE methodologies to enhance OEE, yield, and cycle time.
