Responsibilities:

  • Take on the role of EDC AES Engineer responsible for ship automation related system design and in charge of the Ship Management System (SMS) and its interfaces to platform system equipment and related control and monitoring logics, which includes basic and detail design : SMS architecture
    Generate I/O list
    Review system functional description from internal engineering trades and realise platform system automation, control logics and monitoring in SMS
    Perform integration of third party equipment / system with SMS
    Perform room arrangement integration with internal engineering trades
    Design control console and console panel layout arrangement
    Design control room arrangement layout
