Mobile Power & Distribution | Defence Platforms
Based in Bolton | Up to £65,000 + 21% Bonus + 14% Pension
Hybrid, 2–3 days on site
Not building services.
Not domestic installations.
Not PLC panel wiring.
This is electrical architecture for mobile, safety‑critical defence system equipment operating in harsh land and maritime environments.
If you’ve designed electrical power distribution for vehicles, transportable systems or military platforms, this will feel familiar.
The Role
You’ll define and own the electrical architecture across Weapon System Equipment, covering:
- Extra Low Voltage and Low Voltage electrical design
- Grounding, bonding, screening and EMC‑conscious layouts
- Platform and vehicle‑based power supply and distribution
