Senior Electrical Engineer

Timken Power Systems (TPS) has a current opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the company’s core competency of applying electrical engineering to design, application and repair of AC and DC electric motor/generators/controls and other electrical power transmission equipment. The incumbent of this position is primarily responsible for leadership of both the central (directly) and decentralized (indirectly) engineering teams of the company as well as the continuous improvement of the design engineering processes of the company. In support of these competencies the incumbent is expected to maintain oversight of all the company’s engineering resources to achieve maximum leverage from our investment in technology, in support of serving our target markets (energy and defense) and ensure creation and compliance with high internal PG quality standards.
