We are a product development group seeking a versatile Electrical Engineer for a project-based engagement. We are currently developing a new hardware product and need a specialist who can bridge the gap between physical PCB design and low-level firmware integration.
The Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will be responsible for taking functional requirements and turning them into a production-ready hardware solution. Key tasks include:
Schematic Design & PCB Layout: Creating multi-layer boards with a focus on signal integrity, power management, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
Component Selection: Sourcing reliable, cost-effective components that meet our performance specs.
Embedded Firmware Development: Writing and debugging C/C++ code for microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, or Nordic) to interface with sensors and peripherals.
Prototyping Support: Assisting with bring-up and troubleshooting of initial hardware revisions.
