Position Senior Design Engineer Specialist

Location: East Hartford, CT

Duties: Perform static and dynamic analyses of aero engine components, specifically HPC (High pressure compressors) roto and blade structural analyses. Execute static structural design of Rotating components redesign assessment, verify component durability and interchangeability of parts using finite element analysis, (ANSYS-APDL or Workbench Linear and non-linear static stress analysis (Geometric, Material and contact Linearity) using ANSYS-APDL or Workbench Modal, Harmonic and transient Dynamic stress analysis. Update designs and documentation as required, ensure the structural capability is met, so that the rotor components perform efficiently.
