Senior Design Draughtsman

1. Design

• Do plant layouts with input from clients, management, costing and BOM in AutoCAD 3D and Solidworx.
• Concept and detail design of products and complete plants
• Manufacturing drawings in .dxf
• Do procurement, receive and check parts as required
• Development of standard products in conjunction with the company's personel. This comprise of tested designs, manufacturing drawings, quotations, suppliers, procurement lists and design reviews.

2. Office management

• The design draughtsman will report to the drawing office manager
• The design draughtsman will manage other designers when required
• Manage drawings and model configuration
• Update drawing registers, storage and backup

3. Quality

• Conduct design reviews with management and clients

4. Engineering & workshop support

• Assess engineering problems and find solutions
