Job Title: Senior Db2 Systems Programmer

Job Location: Remote USA

Job Type: Contract 12+ Months (C2C/W2)

We seek someone with an SME-level knowledge of the installation/administration/support process starting with SMP/E through the removal of software components.

For this project, we are seeking for someone who has 10+ years experience in the following capabilities:

  • Configuring and using the SMP/E tool
  • Working with Db2 Logging and System Recovery/Disaster Recovery including GDPS
  • Incorporating the DB2 Subsystem into the LPAR IPLs
  • Working with Db2 Storage Groups
  • Defining and implementing Performance features to Buffer Pools and other Db2 System-level components
  • Defining and maintaining Data Sharing environments including the DB2 Sysplex
