In this role, you will work closely with cross functional teams to improve data models and leverage your expertise in SQL database development, database model design, and query performance tuning to help build and optimize high performing systems.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the database subject matter expert for projects and initiatives.
Support scrum teams in the development, maintenance, implementation and support of database technologies.
Perform runtime impact analysis query performance, index management, and more.
Automate routine database tasks using Bash, Ansible, or Chef.
Create and maintain database engineering process and procedure documentation.
Recommend technologies that balance business needs with technical requirements.
Proactively engage stakeholders to understand needs, goals, and constraints.
