  • You master troubleshooting queries and determine the best strategy to enhance their execution

  • You always document processes related to database design, configuration, and performance

  • You pro-actively identify database performance impediments and resolve them by proposing well though solutions

  • You have a solid experience designing and implementing thorough metrics collection, monitoring and alerting allowing an optimal uptime, performance and scalability of the databases

  • You have a perfect understanding of the different database types (NoSQL, SQL, Key-Value, …) and are able to write maintainable and optimized queries 

  • You have proven experience providing database expertise to engineering teams through code reviews, pairing and training to help deliver optimal database designs and queries
