Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job description

The main responsibilities are:

∙Architect and maintain robust database solutions across SQL Server and Azure platforms.

∙Design and optimize data models for transactional and analytical workloads.

∙Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

∙Lead performance tuning efforts including query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.

∙Collaborate with solution architects and developers to align database design with business needs.

∙Implement best practices for database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.

∙Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for database platforms.

∙Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex database incidents and production issues.

∙Provide on-call or escalation support as required.
