Our financial services client is seeking an Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead risk analysis and data-protection activities within an enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program (Remote; Alberta preferred) [-44]

Overview:

The Data Governance Analyst will drive the operationalization of a DLP initiative — building the documentation and processes that govern ongoing data scans, managing scan outputs and remediation through a Jira board, and supporting enterprise-wide rollout. The role combines data governance, operational risk management, and strong process documentation, working cross-functionally with Data Owners, Application Owners, OCM partners, and technical teams to mature and operationalize data protection.

Must Haves

  • 7+ years in business analysis, data governance, or risk analysis within a banking environment
